Congratulations on joining Tiltify!
Now, let's dive into creating your first campaign and making a difference for your chosen cause.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Craft your first campaign
Select "Campaigns" from your menu, then click "Create new campaign"
Meet Beakr
Beakr is a built-in guide that helps you create your fundraising page step by step, asking a few quick questions to tailor your campaign and get you set up faster.
If at any point you want to make changes to your choices, click the pencil icon at the bottom right of the section to edit. Note: Changing selections may reset or adjust your next steps.
Step 1: Choose a Charity
Start by selecting a charity you'd like to support.
Yes: If you already know the name, use the search bar to find it. (If the selected charity is holding an event, you can choose to support that event or skip it for now)
No: Not sure yet? Browse by category — choose up to 3 areas that matter to you, and we’ll suggest matching charities.
Step 2: Tell Your Story
Share what’s inspiring your campaign.
This short description will appear on your fundraising page to help connect with potential donors.
Step 3: Join a Team or Fundraiser (optional)
Want to fundraise as part of a team or support another campaign?
You can link your campaign to an existing team campaign or fundraiser here. Just search for the name of the campaign you want to support — or skip this step if you're fundraising on your own.
Step 4: Choose How to Build Your Campaign
Pick the setup option that works best for you:
Guided by Beakr – Get step-by-step help setting up your campaign. Beakr will walk you through the essentials and suggest tools based on your goals.
Quick Start – Keep it simple. Enter just the basics and launch a ready-to-go campaign page. You can customize more later.
Build Your Own – Start from a blank campaign and choose your own settings, tools, and structure from the ground up.
Duplicate a Campaign – Copy a previous campaign to reuse your layout and content.
Step 5: Know Your Audience
Tailor your campaign by letting us know who you're reaching and how.
Where are your donors located?
Online – Reaching donors through social media, email, or streaming.
In Person – Engaging face-to-face at events or in your community.
Both – A mix of digital and in-person outreach.
Who’s likely to support your campaign?
Friends & Family – People you know personally.
Community/Fans – Supporters who follow your content or cause.
Both – A combination of both groups.
How will you connect with them? (Select all that apply)
Social Media – Sharing updates and links on platforms.
Live Streaming – Fundraising during live broadcasts.
Single Video – Posting one promotional video.
Video Series – Sharing multiple videos over time.
Podcast/Audio – Promoting through audio content.
Fitness Challenge – Fundraising through physical activity.
Crafts & Merch – Donating through item sales.
In-Person Event – Hosting a live event.
Other – Anything else you're planning.
Step 6: Allow Other Fundraisers to Support You
Want to let others join in and fundraise alongside you?
By turning this on, other fundraisers can create their own linked campaigns to support your effort.
Select Yes or No:
Yes: Your campaign can be supported by others who want to join your cause.
No: Keep your campaign standalone.
Step 7: Review and Launch
Your fundraising page is ready! You can review and edit your campaign summary now or anytime from your dashboard.
Campaign Summary:
Campaign Name – The title of your fundraising campaign.
About Your Campaign – A short description that tells donors why you're fundraising.
Goal – The amount you're aiming to raise.
Media – Images or videos you've added to your campaign.
Next steps:
Save & Publish – Go live and start collecting donations.
Save Draft – Keep working and publish later.
View Page – See what your campaign looks like to donors.
Campaign Overview
Once you save or publish, you will be sent to the campaign dashboard. You can track your progress, add milestones and incentives, or design your page and create an overlay for your livestream.
If your campaign is supporting an event, it's possible that you won't be able to publish your campaign right away if the event hasn't started yet and you'll see a message with when you'll be able to publish your campaign.
Customizing Your Campaign
You can continue editing your campaign anytime in the Setup tab of your dashboard. Here’s what you can update:
Campaign Name – The title of your campaign or event.
Campaign Goal – The amount you want to raise. (Tip: Start with an achievable target — you can raise your goal later, but not lower it.)
Campaign URL – The link to your campaign page. Keep it simple and recognizable.
Campaign Description – Share why you're fundraising and what the cause means to you.
Campaign Avatar (optional) – Add a custom image to represent your campaign.
Event Registration
Some Events require registration details so you may need to fill out additional information to register for an Event. Depending on the event, you may be asked to provide an address, your DOB, a phone number, etc. This information is requested by the cause for the event registration. Some causes may have a registration fee.
